A downloadable daedalus for Windows

Made for Game Maker Italia's TERROROCTOBER jam 2020, developed with Game Maker Studio 2.3 and heavily inspired by a movie called "The Navidson Record". There's some differences, though.
Being a Jam game, Creta is not stable nor tested. Still, I hope you'll enjoy it!

CONTROLS
WASD keys - Movement
Mouse Left button - Interact
Mouse Right button - Toggle flashlight when surrounded by darkness
SHIFT key - Sprint
CTRL key - Crouch
TIPS
-Play the game in the dark, or you won't see a thing
-Use headphones, there's 3D audio
-Use lightsticks to draw your path
-Turning off your flashlight could be useful
-Don't let it deceive you: this game can be finished

I created an account just so I could say. Oh my god. This game. This game made me go insane. I kept repeating to myself "Don't let it deceive you: this game can be finished" over and over again because it was like my fourth attempt at the game and I hadn't attempted playing it in a while... and I spent. An. HOUR. playing non stop no breaks just desperately trying and trying and walking and walking and I couldn't do it anymore all my hope was lost and then. "it" happened. You absolute madman. I'm officially insane now. It was so worth it, though. Congrats!

Since I'm currently reading House of Leaves, this really unsettled me.. in all the best ways! Very creepy and at times I struggled to finish it.

I think you did something really great with the lo-fi graphics by forcing me to never really get a good look at what's chasing me. The monster stays a mystery, and that makes a good monster. Good job!

Loved it! Didn't know what i was doing. had no clue if there was a monster or not. I didn't know how to use my sticks until the end but i made never the less. YAY!
